Madrid received further good news when Sergio Ramos’ red card was successfully rescinded, therefore he will be able to start against Valencia, courtesy of the manager’s decision.

In form goalscorer and potential Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo also returns to the side after missing the midweek Copa Del Rey match through suspension.

Real Madrid travel to Valencia today hoping to get a victory and reduce the gap deficit between themselves and title challengers Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
