The Champions League draw was made today morning. Some of the fixtures are eye catching and will be promisingly entertaining.
Manchester City have to meet Barcelona in the Round 16 of the Champions League, with the first game to be played at the Etihad Stadium. Arsenal also meet tournament favourites Bayern Munich, winners of the Champions League in 2013.
Manchester City and Arsenal both finished second in their groups respectively, therefore they have to verse tougher opponents to reach the Quarter Finals.
Manchester United have been paired with Greek outfit Olympiakos and Chelsea have been drawn against Galatasaray. Chelsea legend Didier Drogba will return to Stamford Bridge for the first time after leaving Chelsea in 2012.
Didier Drogba will also be against former manager Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager signed Drogba from Marseille in July 2004 for £24 million.
Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen will be against Paris Saint Germain and AC Milan will face Atletico Madrid. Schalke will face Real Madrid whilst Zenit St Petersburg will be against runners up of the 2013 Champions League Borussia Dortmund.
The Champions League draw means that some players will be playing against their former clubs, including Yaya Toure of Manchester City and Didier Drogba of Galatasaray.
