As the crunching deadline day is approaching quicker than expected, teams are set to become more eager and serious with their bids as they look to add to their squad before the window closes on Monday 2nd September.
Lately, all the transfer gossip has surrounded the London clubs as Gareth Bale has edged a step closer to signing for Real Madrid and Willian is set to snub the North London club in favour of joining rivals Chelsea, according to the Blues manager.
Sky Sports have revealed that Real Madrid are prepared to break the transfer record as Bale is set to be announced this weekend. Previously, it was Madrid who had broken the record for signing a player before when they lured Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in 2009.
The transfer saga, which has left millions around the globe wondering whether it would happen or not has become agonisingly close to happening as there are Real Madrid t shirts with Bale’s name printed on the back on Madrid’s official website.
Willian, on the other hand is a player who has attracted a lot of attention from a several number of clubs and he is poised to make London his preferred destination, however Jose Mourinho is adamant that he will capture the signature of the Brazilian midfielder for around £30 million.
Although these big money deals have not fallen through yet, only time will tell what will happen for the remainder of the transfer window as there may be some desperate bids made on the deadline day in order to tempt players to switch clubs before the window closes.
